New Latin: Ancient Greek ὀστάριον (ostárion, ossicle) (diminutive of ὀστοῦν (ostoûn, bone)) + Ancient Greek φῦσα (phûsa, bladder) + Latin -i (second declension masculine plural), referring to the Weberian apparatus.
