Proto-Turkic[edit]

Etymology[edit]

According to logic of Turkic initial-∅, Mongolic initial-h and Tungusic initial-p, compared to Proto-Mongolic *hürü- (to rub, grate, file) and Proto-Tungusic *puru- (to crush). (Can this(+) etymology be sourced?) Only if it is related to these verbs can be reconstructed as *üŕ-.

Verb[edit]

*üŕ-

  1. (transitive) to break, tear, demolish.[1]
