*bandiz and *bandī[edit]
We already have *bandī. The Gothic term is listed there and it can definitely not be from *bandiz because it is an ī/jō stem. *bandiz would have given *bands in Gothic. I wonder which of the remaining descendants are not also actually descendants of *bandī instead. —CodeCat 15:08, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
- Ok. I thought it strange that this root was not already represented. I looked for a *bandi- and a *banda-...I missed *bandī. Leasnam (talk) 15:22, 25 June 2013 (UTC)
