I'm not really sure why this is reconstructed as *blōþą rather than *blōdą. May I ask why? All the forms seem to point to the latter. Anglom (talk) 18:48, 5 October 2014 (UTC)

Etymology[edit]
Further support for the given etymology can be found here: (https://clics.clld.org/graphs/subgraph_239), as it strangely seems that flower, red and blood are pretty close in terms of colexifications. Burgundaz (talk) 06:02, 27 August 2022 (UTC)
