According to Olsen, the Iranian forms are from *ǵʰéw-tlo/tleh₂-. --Vahag (talk) 18:23, 18 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Vahagn Petrosyan, that makes more sense. Please make the change? —JohnC5 18:28, 18 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
OK. I also added the Greek cognate from page 36. --Vahag (talk) 18:39, 18 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hóma[edit]

@JohnC5: the Sanskrit hóma is not n stem and its masculine. The form is in fact hómas so it means we have PIIr *ĵʰáwmas. -- 2405:204:9284:D39D:0:0:1201:A8A1 08:11, 8 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Balto-Slavic?[edit]

ἰοχέαιρα[edit]

The -χέαιρα part of this is from χείρ (PIE ǵʰésōr, “hand”) and doesn’t belong in this entry. Only ancient grammarians attributed -χέαιρα to this verb. Unless someone objects, I will be removing ἰοχέαιρα from this page in due time. Edgaraurelius (talk) 23:45, 30 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
