@GuitarDudeness: the entries you added are derived from the prefix, not the pronoun. --{{victar|talk}} 01:24, 27 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Revert[edit]

I assume that I was reverted in good faith [1]. The reconstruction *sweoniz comes from Friesen (von), O. 1915. Verdandis småskrifter (Verdandis Pamphlets) nr. 200. Stockholm. As far as I know, it is the only reconstruction compatible with *swe. However, if an updated theory can be found, I look forward to it.--Berig (talk) 06:55, 29 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

It's not a possible form in Proto-Germanic. There are no known instances of a short vowel in hiatus like that, and short *o is not a phoneme. —Rua (mew) 11:17, 29 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
The form you revert back to is hardly a generally accepted form. Never mind, I don't engage in editor wars nor in discussions with editors who just simply serially revert me. Sorry for stepping on your turf.--Berig (talk) 13:14, 29 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
I don't know of any form that fits the evidence any better. You're free to provide one. —Rua (mew) 14:20, 29 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
