I just noticed there is a page where for *werǵ- given descendant OCS vragu. Is it probable? —Игорь Телкачь 15:44, 15 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

That Slavic word is listed in Appendix:Proto-Indo-European/wérǵom. I don't know if it is correct. --Vahag (talk) 17:25, 15 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
According to Derksen (527) PIE word for *vorgъ (foe) is *(h₁)uorg-o-. Also i noticed that PIE ǵ (can) give z in Slavic (e.g. *zьrno; при и.-е. *rēǵ- ожидалось бы слав. *rězъ). Here is Deksen etymology for some words (i replaced Germanic descendants by PG):
If there is PS *vьršiti and it comes from *vьrxъ then:
Looks like only *vьrša is suitable for *wérǵom. —Игорь Телкачь 19:40, 16 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
--Vahag (talk) 20:11, 16 February 2015 (UTC)Reply
Я не старался разжёвывать. Вы верно убрали неподходящие слова в статье *wérǵom. —Игорь Телкачь 12:15, 17 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

The page գործ (gorc) says it comes from non-ablauting Appendix:Proto-Indo-European/wérǵom. Anyone know it got -o- instead of -e-? — This unsigned comment was added by 72.211.140.51 (talk). 04:32, 06 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

See Martirosyan 2010, page 227, for an explanation. --Vahag (talk) 09:17, 4 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
