@Victar The accent should be on the ending, no? —Aryaman (मुझसे बात करो) 22:19, 5 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Aryamanarora I didn't add the entry, so I don't know the complete etymology. --Victar (talk) 22:29, 5 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Aryamanarora But that looks to be the case, looking at the Sanskrit. --Victar (talk) 23:00, 5 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
@Victar: Yeah, that was probably a scanno. The entry's fine. —Aryaman (मुझसे बात करो) 23:01, 5 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
@AryamanA Hi, MW's dictionary gives víṣa for the sense "servant" and viṣá for the sense poison. Beekes and De Vaan reconstruct the IE word with the accent on the ending. So should this not be *wišás instead? -- Bhagadatta (talk) 08:34, 27 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Bhagadatta: Makes sense to me, will move. —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करेंयोगदान) 18:25, 28 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
