Reduction of the derived terms[edit]

Do we seriously need so many derivatives (45 as of the posting of this thread)? In my opinion, only *myšьca (muscle), *myšьnica (biceps, armpit) and *myšelovъ (buzzard) are unique enough to be worth noting. The remaining derivatives are diminutive forms, collective terms, adjectives, generic compound words such as mouse-hunter, mouse-plague, mouse-trap, mouse-poison, etc (which nobody uses except in very specific situations). Most of them do not convey any unique meaning, thus, I think, it is pointless to be mention them. Bezimenen (talk) 15:12, 23 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

If they are derived terms, and can be securely reconstructed for Proto-Slavic so that an entry can be created for them, why would we not include them in the list? —Rua (mew) 15:41, 23 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
