Moving the page[edit]

@Anylai, what do you think of moving the page to *kumursga (or *kumurs-)? It seems advisable to me to go with Old Turkic in cases of uncertain reconstruction like these, with explainations of the problem under the Reconstruction heading. Stachowski reconstructs *kumɨrtka though, which is weird since I thought it generally believed that PT *s > Yakut t is a secondary phenomenon. Crom daba (talk) 20:10, 18 February 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I think we should simply rename it to "kumursga" since it is the oldest attestation and some modern forms do not make much sense. Great deal of other animal names seem to be distorted in modern languages as well. --Anylai (talk) 10:20, 20 February 2018 (UTC)Reply
