Talk:βαίνω

According to ancient Greek dictionaries such as the one given as reference for βαίνω (Henry George Liddell, Robert Scott). The future of βαίνω is βήσομαι and the aorist ἔβην and (ἔβησα when βαίνω is transitive)... Could we get more reference on alternative future βήσω given in the main Entry page?

I'm not seeing much evidence for βήσω, so I'll go ahead and remove it. My suspicion is that it was a rare/later form, and will eventually be re-added, but I have no evidence which justifies keeping it at this point. -Atelaes λάλει ἐμοί 22:10, 22 October 2012 (UTC)

Can someone redo the alternative syncopated perfect stem in βεβα-? I think the inflectional tables are haywire. Recap: βεβα- is used in the indicative active dual and plural, the active optative, the active imperative, and the active infinitive, which also sports the alternate perfect active infinitive endings βεβάμεν and βεβάναι. — This unsigned comment was added by 184.94.60.234 (talk).

I think the formation is regular if regarded in I.-E. terms, in which the perfect dual and plural take the zero-grade stem, whose reflex in Greek is βεβα-.99.231.62.104 08:13, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
