@Atitarev Do we need to provide ...? Not sure what you meant. Benwing2 (talk) 04:54, 30 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Benwing2: <a> in {{bg-ndecl|ве́стник<a(v)>}} is for stress pattern a and categorisations? It works without as well - {{bg-ndecl|ве́стник<(v)>}}, just wanted to know the purpose - current of future. Also, if stressed forms (e.g. plural ending or full forms) are explicitly provided, do we still need letters for any future categorisations? --Anatoli T. <a> is for the stress pattern. It is the default in most circumstances, so you don't need to provide it. It sometimes makes sense to provide it explicitly either if you want to list multiple stress patterns, e.g. <ac>, or if the default is something other than a. For example, the default for a reducible noun with stress on the reducing vowel is c, e.g. {{bg-ndecl|бое́ц<*>}} defaults to c so that you get plural бойци́ (not бо́йци), which is nearly always correct for these types of nouns. But if for some reason you wanted plural бо́йци, or some other stem-stressed plural, you could specify <a> explicitly. As for future categorizations, if/when I add them I will probably try to figure out the categorization properly if you provide accents on plural endings or full forms, even if you don't provide a matching stress pattern indicator. This can always be done correctly when plural endings are supplied, and when full forms are supplied I can do some clever guessing that will probably be correct > 95% of the time.
