@Atitarev: I'd like to FWOTD this, but I think the current literal translation might be a bit confusing/inaccurate. The Russian expression is quite compact (although perfectly clear, if I've understood it correctly), so difficult to render concisely, though. "dans la [tenue] dans laquelle [sa] mère [l']a mis au monde", "in the [suit] in which [his/her] mother gave [him/her] birth"?
By the way, is it always used predicatively, or also attributively? Per utramque cavernam 15:08, 5 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Per utramque cavernam: Yes, something like that. The literal translation is "in what mother has born" ("in the clothes/suit or no clothes, in this case). Only predicatively. Please use complete sentences in quotes, @носи́тель языка́ (nosítelʹ jazyká) one quote is an incomplete sentence. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 10:45, 6 June 2018 (UTC)
