The case endings of the Mongolian noun are not consistent with the description of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mongolian_language#Morphology. According to the latter, the genitive reads "номын" and the dative reads "номонд". This last form itself does not conform to the description given there that the dative/locative form is formed by adding one of the following endings to the stem of a word of -д (d), -ад (ad), -ид (id), -т (t), or the stem should (in certain situations) be different from "ном".
