@Per utramque cavernam: Yes, *padežь is reconstructable. The semantics are typical of native/Church Slavonic doublets: the CS term was borrowed in the sense calqued from Greek πτῶσις. Guldrelokk (talk) 16:53, 2 September 2018 (UTC)
