@Atitarev Can you add the appropriate {{ru-participle of}} invocation? I'm not sure which verb this is a participle of. Benwing2 (talk) 21:15, 23 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Atitarev Could this be a participle of прибыть? Benwing2 (talk) 01:40, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
Etymologically they could be somehow related, as сущий is derived from быть. прибыть is a perfective verb but "присущий" has a present meaning. Somewhere there was a suggestion that it's from присутствующий (present). --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 01:45, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
ruwiki mentions присутствующий as an archaic meaning of this word. Benwing2 (talk) 02:24, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
Yes, it's still used as "present" in religious contexts. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 02:40, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
You can add a participle section to сущий, if you wish. I may not have access to my desktop for some time. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 02:42, 24 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
