Past masculine singular[edit]

@Theknightwho, @Benwing2: Re: diff

тря́с (trjás)/тря́съ (trjás) are standard. трёс (trjos)/трёсъ (trjos) are colloquial (or non-standard in an educated speech), at least from the modern perspective, the pre-reform is also spelled тря̈съ (trjǫs). Need some labels. Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 23:55, 13 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

Per Talk:гнѣзда, the same will apply to -прячь (-prjačʹ) verbs. Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 23:58, 13 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Atitarev According to p. 263 of this book, apparently мя̈здры (mjǫ́zdry) as the plural of мяздра́ (mjazdrá). It's the old spelling of мездра́ (mezdrá), but I didn't think it could be used in the plural. Perhaps this phenomenon is exactly why it isn't used in the plural, though? Given how odd it is. @Theknightwho: Theoretical plurals are fine when a declension type is important. Doesn't need to go into the declension table.
мяздра́ (mjazdrá) seems to me to be a case of я́канье (jákanʹje) (dialectal), just like дясна́ (djasná), вясна́ (vjasná), etc. Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 01:40, 15 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
