@Calak, I am trying to explain this as containing a reflex of PIE *gʷṓws at the initial position. Can you think of anything suitable in Iranian for -toš, -dāš? Perhaps IIr *dáwš (forearm)? --Vahag (talk) 09:48, 30 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

I have no resource but I think Persian gudāš, gadāš is a Turkic loanword; second part is looks like Turkish dāš, tāš "stone, rock".--Calak (talk) 15:04, 1 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
