- Yes, Chasidim exist and speak Yiddish, however their Yiddish has deviated a bit from the conventional dialects as of the mid-twentieth century and earlier, especially with regard to adjectival inflection, which is probably the exact issue here. --WikiTiki89 17:47, 9 May 2018 (UTC)
- Three people I know who grew up speaking Yiddish in non-chassidic environments (ranging in age from 35 to 75) all use singular agreement with gefilte fish.
