@Calak Are you sure that the word in the meaning “introduction” is from Persian? I thought this is is just a facet of its general meaning “embellishment; embellished words”, as forewords are often full of praises. (an example quote at دَبَّجَ (dabbaja)). Considering that the Persian meaning is only (?) so special it looks to me like borrowed so from Arabic. Fay Freak (talk) 13:54, 25 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
