Can we omit the grouping of the Balkan languages under the Turkish one, so that all descendants are treated æqually, without subordination? The uſer hight Bogorm converſation 14:31, 20 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Another reason is that the Balkan languages (bg, el, sh, ro) and the Turkish word all derive from Ottoman Turkish (which we do not have here in the proper script), therefore it is also technically undesirable. Listing them under Ottoman Turkish word would be acceptable, but not under the modern Turkish word. The uſer hight Bogorm converſation 14:34, 20 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

I ungrouped all languages. It is very hard to do the grouping precisely: for example, Greek καντάρι can be both from Ottoman Turkish and Italian. --Vahagn Petrosyan 15:27, 20 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
