@AryamanA The confusion was actually about Urdu not being a descendant of Old Hindi at CAT:Urdu language and Braj being a descendant of Old Hindi so I copied the format that you provided at Lua error in Module:parameters at line 95: Parameter 1 should be a valid language or etymology language code; the value "psu" is not valid. See WT:LOL and WT:LOL/E.. Old Hindi says that Urdu is a descendant of it, and there are similar statements at Urdu. Kutchkutch (talk) 17:53, 20 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Kutchkutch: Ah then I will fix that. I'll put Urdu and Hindi together under a Hindustani family, which will be under Old Hindi. —AryamanA (मुझसे बात करेंयोगदान) 19:57, 20 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Braj[edit]

@Svartava2 Why should Braj not be placed under Sauraseni Apabhramsa and Old Hindi? Kutchkutch (talk) 11:37, 7 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Kutchkutch I think you're referring to diff. I really think we don't need to show empty "sauraseni apabhramsa" and "old hindi" "gurjar apabhramsa" etc unless a term is attested. I prefer keeping descendants section short and clean. Svartava2 (talk) 13:07, 7 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
