The Iranica article does not say it's from Modern Persian. It says cf. Old Pers. nāviyā “navy,” NPers. nāv “war-ship, boat”. The word can't be from Modern Persian (code fa), as it is attested in Old Georgian. So, you should use the generic code {{ira}} and link to various Iranian forms, until someone determines exactly from which Iranian language it was borrowed. My opinion is Middle Persian or Parthian. The Old Georgian period is roughly until 12. Modern Persian period - from 800 AD. you see they overlap, so question is if it is attested during till 800.

Most Iranian borrowings in Armenian and Georgian are from the time when we were part of the Parthian Empire (247 BC – 224 AD) and Sassanid Empire (AD 224 to AD 651). So most of the borrowings are from Parthian or Middle Persian.
