on 𡦌

I just removed 𡦌 from the alternative forms here, and I think some explanation may be needed.

𡦌 is only found in 《字彙補》, where it is a variant form of 𡥧 "to cut grass" (the reading is unknown):

𡥧，■海切，音■。俗謂割𨥼草也。

𡦌，同𡥧。

These 𡥧 and 𡦌 (possibly two phono-semantic compounds with similar phonetic parts) are unrelated to the 𡥧 used as an analogous simplified form of Cantonese 孻 "last" (an ideogram).

Some modern dictionaries (中文大辭典、大漢和辭典, etc) nevertheless say that 𡦌 is a variant of 孻 "last", which is an error due to confusion (they also cite 《字彙補》, but mistakenly de-simplify 𡥧 as 孻). 60.56.131.237 08:03, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
