@Justinrleung For Teochew,《廣東閩方言研究》by 林倫倫 (p.265),《新編潮州音字典》by 林倫倫 (p.330), 《新潮汕字典（精編本）》by 張曉山 (p.130) and《汕頭話音檔》by 侯精一 all list huan1 as the only pronunciation of 歡, while 《漢語方音字彙》lists huêng1 as the literary reading of the character. Haifeng dialect does have /huaŋ³³/ as the literary reading though. huêng1/huang1 may be a reading no longer in use among Teochew speakers as newer publications 《新潮汕字典（精編本）》did not include it. Perhaps the literary reading of the character has already died out, as with the literary reading of many other characters in Teochew. —RcAlex36 (talk) 08:47, 15 February 2019 (UTC)
