I took the below text out of the main article, out of a concern that it may be copyrighted material. If anyone can prove that it is not copyrighted, I don't have a problem putting it back in (the example sentences, not the definitions). 【释义】铤:急走的样子;走险:奔赴险处。指在无路可走的时候采取冒险行动,整个意思是在危机的时候只能采取冒险的行动,没有选择的余地了.
【出处】《左传·文公十七年》:“小国之事大国也,德则其人也,不德则其鹿也,铤而走险,急何能择?”
【用例】碰了荒年,也少不了这班人,不然,闹出那~的,更是不得了了。(清·吴趼人《二十年目睹之怪现状》第十五回)
