Does anyone know the representative origin of the glyph? A house with the door shut or the curtains drawn? Hang on, its appears to be rain falling from the sky - so somehow rain became associated with night time and night naturally to black. Why is rain = night? The Sumerians may have observed, or believed they observed, that it tends to rain more often at night or in the early morning (even today people often believe this, and depending on where they live, it may even be true).2A01:CB0C:CD:D800:ED82:6ACC:BB05:C779 06:44, 8 May 2021 (UTC)
