@Vahagn Petrosyan Is this suffix pronounced like [t] or like [t^h]? Hovsepig (talk) 03:35, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

It is without aspiration. That's why the illiterate spell ծնունդտ շնորհավոր։ Vahag (talk) 11:15, 2 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Voiced d[edit]

@Vahagn Petrosyan do people actually ever pronounce this as -d? Hovsepig (talk) 21:33, 19 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Hovsepig: I tried to say ['mɛɾəd], ['hɛɾəd], and it does not seem completely artificial. I always use [-t], but I can't guarantee the other pronunciation does not exist. More experiments are needed. Vahag (talk) 13:21, 20 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

different pronounciations[edit]

@Vahagn Petrosyan. Can you add that this suffix is [ət/əd/ətʰ] after a consonant? I couldn't figure out to do it with the hy-pron template. Same issue for Hovsepig (talk) 16:11, 21 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
