From Lansing +‎ -esque, after the cultural identity surrounding the Greater Lansing area of Michigan.

-esque (adjective-forming suffix, comparative more -esque, superlative most -esque)

1. (slang) Marked as a stereotypical resident of Central Michigan.
2. (slang) Marked as a stereotypical resident of Central Michigan due one having a mullet haircut as the identifying feature.
