English[edit]

  • Is there an alternative form self as my self (or my self) for myself? A New English Grammar [...] (from 1662) spells it this way.
  • Is there an alternative form -selfe as in myselfe (which might be a correct (Early) New English entry or an incorrect Middle English entry...)?
  • ""his or herself" [..] and "his or her self" [..]" - is there also "his- or herself" with usage of - as in German?

Used in an absolute construction[edit]

Himself the soul of honor, he included many rascals among his intimates. --Backinstadiums (talk) 09:53, 24 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
