Missing sense: a jailer?[edit]

Chambers 1908 defines Adam as "a jailer". Probably a reference to the character in Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors. A quick search didn't turn up much for "an Adam" etc. Equinox 22:36, 26 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
