Probably syllabified as ai-ou-e-a, 'ai' and 'ou' both being diphthongs in Greek, presumably inherited as such by Latin. I don't know where the stress(es) would go. DCDuring (talk) 15:50, 11 November 2023 (UTC)
- This is in line with the prescriptive advice of the very few sites that address these diphthongs. But many sites address more common diphthongs. DCDuring (talk) 14:13, 14 November 2023 (UTC)
