- Literal definition is sum of parts.

- I heard this used in a business meeting recently; I knew what it meant, but was unsure if younger participants understood, or considered maybe this was a regional phrase peculiar to where I was raised. The fact that Equinox was able to find public quotations using the phrase within minutes of me creating the entry -- not to mention that he found it useful -- IMO is reason enough to remove the RFD immediately. - RFV is the search for citations; RFD is when someone thinks it's a real phrase but for some reason not suitable for inclusion (like "brown leaf"). Equinox ◑ 16:26, 5 June 2012 (UTC)
