I added the word "unrecognized", on the grounds that neither the Union (United States) nor any foreign country, officially recognized the Confederacy, making its status as a de jure valid nation highly questionable. Okay?--Solomonfromfinland (talk) 01:16, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
