The initial j- is just a prothetic before a front vowel (as it is in all Slavic languages), and the Ermenija form is probably mediated by Turkish, but I can't find anything to corroborate it ATM. --Ivan Štambuk 13:28, 12 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
