Thorne's Contemporary Slang Dictionary has this, explaining it as a further extension of Abyssinia ("I'll be seein' ya!"). Not easy to search for. I couldn't find anything in GBooks. Equinox ◑ 15:11, 1 July 2023 (UTC)
