BTW: “Hauchlaut” in Duden online ("(z. B. ein h)" - implying it's not only [h]) and “Hauchlaut” in Digitales Wörterbuch der deutschen Sprache do not clearly define the term. Adelung has #1 and #2. #3 is often given as translation of Spirant. -04:58, 30 March 2018 (UTC)
