German. Sense: “Abbreviation of im Jahre when written in fraktur.” Tagged by Sally Buns on 3 April, not listed:

- About that. In most Fraktur fonts back in the day, capital I and capital J are the same. So I removed it because of encoding. This does not mean though that I believe it should be iJ. Back in the day one also wrote more dots, like G.m.b.H. instead of now GmbH, because without full stops acronyms look questionable in Fraktur. Fay Freak (talk) 16:53, 1 December 2020 (UTC)
