Offensive?[edit]

Isn't this supposed to be marked as "offensive" or something similar? Like it's written here, it looks like a pc term. That can't be. Kommitanz 13:42, 3 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Possibly. In fact someone tried to claim that they didn't get a fair trial because the use of "Jewish lightning" may have biased the jury. That objection was overruled.
Here, the court found that there was no plain error, noting that the state did not use the term "Jewish lightning" in a manner that would invite of encourage the jurors to convict the defnedant based on his ethnicity. - American law reports. alr 4th. cases and annotations, 1989 - Page 761
