Native Script for Country Names

Why isn't Yugoslavia or Jugoslavia written in Cyrillic or in the Greek? Romanization is handy for an article written in English, but it's not the glyph set native to the name of the country. That's like writing China in Roman... few in the actual country knows what the article is about. (It's not even "China", it's "Zhong Gua" in Mandarin, or more accurately 中国 or the longer political variant 中华人民共和国 translation of "Peoples' Republic of China" referring to the mainland under the control of the Chinese Communist Party). In this article, it would be helpful to see the actual writing of "Yugoslavia" in the Cyrillic form which is used for their official documents. 66.7.125.202 09:37, 19 January 2023 (UTC)

Another way to look at this, is the French call "The United States" "etat unis". The Japanese call it "アメリカ" or "米国", the Chinese refer to it as "美國", but in any serious academic or authoritative scholarly piece, you'll find it at least once written in its native form "United States of America". Yugoslavia should be at least ONCE shown in Cyrillic in the Wiktionary article! 66.7.125.202 09:41, 19 January 2023 (UTC)
