The article says that the Kindergarten is not for education, in distinction to a school, but this seems to be out of date, based on the de.wiki articles. "Kindergarten" on de.wiki opens with "Der Kindergarten ist eine öffentliche oder private Einrichtung für die frühe Bildung...", refers to a debate about this that happened in the past (2004 it seems?) and says that German law defines their responsibilities as „Betreuung, Bildung und Erziehung“. The de.article on "Vorschule" identifies Kindergaerten as a type of Vorschule. 178.2.21.48 14:13, 12 August 2022 (UTC)
