Is it more proper to capitalize the Moon when speaking about the Earth's moon? Wiktionary has entries for both, as proper nouns, but doesn't specify which is more proper. 24.29.238.60 06:09, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

"The Sun", "The Moon"; "a sun", "a moon". The capitalised form is explicitly preferred in virtually all older and most newer style books. There might be some who consider it old-fashioned. DCDuring TALK 15:28, 16 January 2009 (UTC)

Family names

I don't know what policy would say, but would it be possible to mention that Moon is a family name in both English and Korean? This came up since the word Moonie uses this entry as a derivation. Of course that word has nothing to do with the Earth's moon. Redddogg 14:48, 15 July 2010 (UTC)
