- Can it refer to a system as well as the society? WP's Christianity in Japan article says: "In the dictionary's third edition, published in 1886, Hepburn adopted a new system for romanization of the Japanese language (Rōmajikai)." Equinox ◑ 12:13, 6 August 2021 (UTC)
