Covid-19 not a hot word anymore[edit]
Covid-19 not a hot word (seeː Appendix:Glossary#hot_word ) anymore - as the common criterion "spanning at least one year" is now met. Delete the HOT SENSE annotation ? --MistaPPPP (talk) 19:50, 12 February 2022 (UTC)
English section[edit]
Is there a point to having an English section here? It seems redundant to Translingual. To be fair, the IPA pronunciation and lists of 'nyms are unique to English, but I'm not sure that's enough of a reason, because by the same reasoning we could probably add German, Romanian, Turkish, etc., which would each have their own unique pronunciations and 'nyms. Rfv-sense: COVID-19; the disease caused by the virus.
Hot word since 2020. There is only one citation (from October 2020), and it is iffy: "symptoms of SARS-CoV-2 infection". This could refer to the disease as such, but could equally be referring to the virus. Cnilep (talk) 08:07, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
