I would like to register my serious reservation about articles with chemical formulas as titles. There should, of course, be an article for silica and probably also for silicon dioxide, but formulas give us an opportunity to set limits. That said, I would not be averse to Wiktionary:Chemical formula index. That would have no link from the formulas themselves, only from the substances that they represent.
