@Numberguy6: Thanks for your attention to this entry. I disagree with this edit that replaces the label "proscribed" with "dated". The two are not mutually exclusive, but "proscribed" leaves open the possibility of continued informal usage, while "dated" fails to communicate the fact that there is active opposition to this usage. The CDP in Fresno County has been officially renamed, with state law proscribing against continued usage of this name and federal regulation discontinuing federal usage of it. We can also say that it's dated if you like, but that would be redundant and more subjective. Minh Nguyễn 💬 06:07, 4 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
