Accent

@Vininn126 Would this one be paroxytone or proparoxytone? Most such borrowings are the latter, like opera and matematyka, but given we don't know whether this is one I'm unsure... Hythonia (talk) 20:24, 10 December 2021 (UTC)

@Hythonia Good question. I'd assume it'd be alegoryka standardly and alegoryka colloquially, but I have no sources to say. You're the Pole here :p, I have an accent and all Vininn126 (talk) 20:28, 10 December 2021 (UTC)

@Vininn126: Why, yes, I am a Pole; I also frequently move the accent in the aforementioned words and sometimes even catch myself saying stuff like włanczać, so by no means do I consider myself an authority on this, especially taking into consideration I don't think I've ever as much as said the word alegoryka out loud :p

@Hythonia there ain't nothing wrong with włanczać. It's a perfectly acceptable application of -ać. That said, I think we should use some good old stare decisis and list both, cause I think any pole in such a circumstance would agree that those are the pronunciations.
