Citation of Latin "amb"[edit]

Hi @SemperBlotto, according to this textbook, the form "amb" is the stem for ambo, and according to Elementary Lewis, it is a prefix meaning around. Is there a citation for the form "amb" in the meaning both? Icebob99 (talk) 16:44, 22 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

All three cited sources only have it as a form of the prefix ambi, so I've removed it here. --80.169.223.146 11:33, 26 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
Better to nominate it for deletion and have others look at it, on the off chance there's something we don't know about. Chuck Entz (talk) 14:33, 26 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

The following information has failed Wiktionary's deletion process (permalink).

It should not be re-entered without careful consideration.

The entire Latin section was removed by an IP (User:80.169.223.146) on the grounds that it's a prefix rather than a word in its own right. Chuck Entz (talk) 14:31, 26 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
