Etymology[edit]

The Ancient Greek term would be *analabos, derived from analambánō (ἀναλαμβάνω), "to take up", but the former term doesn't seem to be attested in Ancient Greek, at least not that I can find. Therefore it's probably traceable only to later Greek. Burgundaz (talk) 22:48, 21 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
