Doubting[edit]

@Ysrael214 I don't think this phrase is used in Tagalog to express surprise? Mar vin kaiser (talk) 07:02, 29 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Mar vin kaiser "Aba talagang maliit ang mundo!" It is. When you meet someone say from a former university classmate in some mall maybe. Aren't you surprised by that? How do you use it? Ysrael214 (talk) 07:17, 29 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Mar vin kaiser When you don't use it like that something like: "Alam mo, maliit ang mundo." Can also mean something like "anything is possible, you can meet that person again somewhen, somewhere", really depends too. Ysrael214 (talk) 07:25, 29 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Mar vin kaiser Can also be "ang liit ng mundo" if you like. Ysrael214 (talk) 07:38, 29 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Ysrael214: Ok, I can find attestations of "ang liit ng mundo", perhaps that should be the main lemma. Kinda not sure about "maliit ang mundo" though I get derivations of it with adverbs sound natural enough. It's just that Tagalog speakers these days don't usually express surprise with the normal form of an adjective, but with "ang ~". --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 07:45, 29 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Mar vin kaiser Okay you can change it to "ang liit ng mundo". Thanks. Ysrael214 (talk) 07:48, 29 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
